This neocambrian creature blends in with local leaves and grasses, and preys upon the smaller insects which feed on those same plants. Mimicking its prey's food, it simply waits for prey to come to it. There existed a diversity of subspecies, many adapted to resemble a specific plant species.

Otto! I'm so, so glad to see you're still alive! Stopped reading yr comic at like, exactly this time last year, due to an acute case of falling off the face of the internets, and it seems like too much of a coincidence not to start reading it again now. Gave you some art last December, albeit under a different username, and i shall endeavour to support your cause again this year! I've removed the part of my brain that governs free will and am awaiting my Skizzetag approved conditioning. Heil Herr Germain!

Cool! An evolved stickbug!

Welcome back, Consumer LordSir! You're just in time for another month of Consumer Testimonials. Don't worry about the missing parts of your brain, you have already been scheduled for an expensive and invasive medical procedure to correct this oversight. All of us here at the Depot eagerly await your latest creations!
